Stories about police encounters with youth in Chicago, recorded in 2011-2012 at Circles and Ciphers, the Broadway Youth Center, Project NIA, the Howard Area Community Center and Build, Inc. Chain Reaction also began to document stories about times people did not call the police and set off a different chain reaction, stories we hope to gather more of in the next stage of the project.

BYC is a drop-in center for LGBTQ youth in Chicago. Youth at the BYC interviewed each other to produce these stories.
